Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of questions about what workouts I do at home, since I have been posting a lot of workout time-lapses in my IG stories @mikeefederizo (the crowd-favorites are the ones with my dogs). Today, I thought I’d make a quick blog post, sharing all my workout routines as well as links to everything so that you can also do the same!
I understand that a lot of people may be skeptical of what ~detoxing~ is and if it works. Some even hate the word because it sounds like a superficial fad. However, I beg to disagree — detox is not superficial and is definitely not a fad because it’s one of the most important things we can do FOR our bodies.
Our skin is not as simple as we think it is.
You know what it does — it protects our bodies from all external forces like sunlight, wind, extreme temperatures… It is, in fact, the largest organ in our bodies.
First off, congratulations to us for passing the 1-week mark of staying home! Fortunately (or unfortunately), we have 3 more weeks to go. Though this is a challenging time for all of us, we have a choice whether to just sit at home and do nothing or, we can turn it around by making use of all the free time we have on our hands and doing something productive.
I’m sure we all choose the latter — so here are some tips I have on Healthy Habits we can incorporate in our lives starting TODAY!
Reading not only keeps you away from distrations and negative noises around, it also exercises one of the most beautiful parts of our body — our BRAIN. And what better way to exercise our brain than learning from the greatest minds of the past, present and future.
Disclaimer: Long post ahead
It’s been a while since I wrote my last blog post (as usual, I got busy with work) but now I am currently at home, really with nothing to do and I thought, well now I have no reason not to write a blog post.
Everyday, I read the news and it gets worse and worse. I remember about a month ago, when the Philippines wasn’t in panic yet and the rest of the world are starting to like China, Korea, Japan, etc and I thought to myself, why are we so relaxed? Of course it’s because we have that mentality “wala pa naman eh” (“it’s not here yet anyway”). Well now it’s here, and perhaps we can take a moment to reflect.
Another year, another recap!
This is one of my favorite times at the beginning of the year when I get to pause and reflect to see where the previous year took us. I hope I continue to do this every year until someone else does it for me (maybe in 70 years, when I cannot type anymore :p). This time I will not make it by month but instead, I would like to highlight some events and special projects we accomplished this year.
As most probably know by now, I am a HUGE fan of a brand from India called Radico – they are the first certified 100% organic hair color in the world and thankfully, 2 years ago, we had the privilege to be able to bring them in the Philippines.
What do you want to be when you grow up? As kids, we would often answer, “I want to be an astronaut” or “I want to be a doctor”. For me, it was always “I want to be a businesswoman”. Ever since I was young, I knew exactly what I wanted to be and that is to be like my dad, whom I have shadowed all my life. Now that I am already in that position, a “businesswoman” you can say, I asked myself again: What do I want to be in the future?
Is it me or is 2019 going by SO QUICKLY?? I planned to do this blog post earlier and I had just now realized that it’s almost the end of January… can 2019 please slow down? :p
2018 was a great year for LineaOrganica. It was our first official year as a startup, and many events happened throughout the year that was monumental for our company. In this post, I would like to share a quick recap of everything that happened:
